Effective volunteer action in the field of animal rights requires understanding both the current legal framework and the developments taking place in the field. Seeing how responsibilities for the protection of animals are defined and how the system operates can help volunteers position their protection, monitoring, and advocacy efforts more consciously.

Ramazan Ölçer, President of Huysuz İhtiyar Animal and Environmental Activists Association, will discuss the association’s field perspective and volunteering experience in the area of animal rights.

The webinar will explore the relationship between animal rights law and current developments regarding the situation of animals. It will also compare what the system aims to do with what animal lovers and volunteers are trying to do in the field, while focusing on the place of volunteers’ protection, monitoring, and advocacy contributions within the existing structure.
We invite everyone who wants to evaluate current developments in animal rights, the legal framework, and the field impact of volunteer effort together to join this webinar.

The webinar is being organised within the scope of the International Volunteer Year (IVY). It is free of charge, and participants will receive certificates upon completion.
