Canada has officially designated its national focal point for the International Volunteer Year (IVY) 2026, reaffirming the country’s commitment to strengthening civic engagement, volunteerism, and community resilience both at home and globally.

The Social Innovation and Community Development Directorate at Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) will serve as the official focal point (Point focal) for Canada.
