Every year on International Volunteer Day, the Canton of Basel-Stadt, together with regional volunteer organisations, honours volunteers who are active in the region at the Celebration of International Volunteer Day.

 In the context of the International Volunteer Year, this event will showcase the importance of voluntary work in the region and honour it with a festive programme.
