The CEV Autumn Volunteering Congress 2026 brings together volunteer organisations, public authorities, policymakers, researchers, and practitioners from across Europe to exchange ideas, share experiences, and explore the evolving role of volunteering in building inclusive, resilient, and democratic societies.
This edition of the CEV Autumn Volunteering Congress takes place in Brussels, Belgium, in the context of IVY2026. Through interactive sessions, workshops, and networking opportunities, participants will have the opportunity to explore the topics of sports volunteer management and mentoring for inclusive volunteering. This event will also provide a space for European IVY2026 National Focal Points to provide updates on the progress of their IVY2026 initiatives.
The Congress will highlight innovative practices from across Europe and create opportunities for participants to learn from one another, build partnerships, and strengthen the volunteer ecosystem at local, national, and European levels.
The European Volunteering Capital 2028 candidates - Lleida (Spain), Reggio Emilia (Italy), Odder (Denmark) and Pilsen (Czechia) - will present their volunteering ecosystem to the participants and EVCapital Jury. EV Capital 2026 Maia, and EV Capital County Clare will also share updates.
Join colleagues and partners from across Europe for exchange and collective action, while strengthening, inspiring and celebrating volunteering in Europe.
NB: The event takes place just a few days before the “IVCO 2026 Global Volunteering Through Mutual Exchange and Partnerships: An Essential Force for Sustainable Development” event, hosted by the Forum and France Volontaires, “down the road” in Paris!
