Chile has officially reinforced its commitment to the International Volunteer Year (IVY) 2026 by appointing its national leadership team.

Mauricio Fuentes (Coordinator of the Volunteerism and Civic Participation Unit) and Felipe Herrera (Head of the Programmatic Coordination Department) have been designated as the country’s National Focal Points. This appointment signals Chile's dedication to mobilizing volunteerism as a vital tool for civic participation and national development.
