Colombia has taken an important step in advancing its commitment to the International Volunteer Year (IVY) 2026 by officially appointing John Fabián Carabalí Zornosa, Third Secretary at the Directorate of Economic, Social and Environmental Affairs, as the country’s national focal point.

Through this appointment, Colombia strengthens its vision of expanding international cooperation and mobilizing volunteerism as a catalyst for development.
