In the context of the IVY 2026 in Cyprus, a dialogue was organized between the Minister of Health and NGOs. 

The purpose of the Dialogue is to strengthen relations between NGOs and the Ministry with a view to achieving common objectives, as well as to address issues and challenges faced by the NGOs. 

In the course of the dialogue, the Minister outlined the Ministry’s position on the International Volunteer Year, noting that in the health sector this is reflected in stronger prevention and awareness initiatives, enhanced support for mental resilience, improved care for vulnerable groups and, ultimately, the promotion of a society that leaves no one behind.
