Kazakhstan continues to implement the UN International Volunteers Year for Sustainable Development, initiated by Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. This large-scale project has spurred the active development of the volunteer movement in the country.

Since the beginning of the year, over 300 events have been organized in the Mangystau region to support the population, develop civic engagement, and implement socially significant initiatives.

Currently, approximately 6,000 volunteers operate in the region, united in six volunteer organizations and 10 volunteer groups. They actively participate in charitable, environmental, educational, and social projects, providing assistance to various categories of citizens.

One successful initiative is the "Batyl Bol" project, through which volunteers teach Kazakh language to residents of the region free of charge. The program combines language learning with an introduction to the history, culture, and traditions of the Kazakh people. Currently, approximately 80 people are enrolled in the courses.

Another popular project is Jas Media, which aims to develop media literacy and digital skills among young people. Participants learn photography and videography, social media marketing, graphic design, mobile photography, and content creation for social media.

A special focus is the "Meiirim Mekeni" charity campaign, where volunteers provide assistance to large and low-income families, lonely seniors, and individuals with special needs. Volunteers deliver food and essential items, fostering a culture of mutual aid and social responsibility in society.
