Karmayogi Ambassador Programme 2026 By GEG Global Foundation
Volunteer Contribution Report: Harshita Singh, Guna, Madhya Pradesh
Harshita Singh from Guna, Madhya Pradesh, actively participated in the Karmayogi Ambassador Programme, launched by The GEG Global Foundation under Project Mission 5642 as an initiative to recognise and engage young people committed to selfless service and grassroots action.
The programme was designed around the principle that volunteering is not limited by profession, background, geography or social status. It seeks to recognise the “real Karmayogis”—individuals who contribute to society through consistent, often unrecognised service. From sanitation workers and community workers to young volunteers and grassroots changemakers, every individual who serves with sincerity and without expectation embodies the spirit of a Karmayogi.
Through her participation, Harshita contributed to advancing this message among young people and demonstrated the importance of youth participation in community-oriented initiatives. Her involvement reflects how young volunteers can become bridges between grassroots realities and the wider youth community, encouraging others to recognise service as a responsibility and a pathway to meaningful social change.
The programme carries a broader message for International Volunteer Year: volunteering is fundamentally about the intention to serve selflessly. It is not defined by a title, recognition or institutional position, but by the willingness to contribute time, effort and compassion for the betterment of society.
Harshita’s participation therefore represents more than individual involvement; it contributes to a larger effort to inspire the younger generation to value service, recognise grassroots contributors and become active participants in building a more inclusive and responsible society.
