Live The Action: International Empowering Workshop
Youth workers from France, Hungary, Ireland, and Poland and France came together in Szeged for the international workshop of the LIVE – Long-Term Innovative Volunteer Engine project.
The workshop focused on cross-sectoral cooperation in volunteering and explored how civil society organisations, public institutions and businesses can work together to create meaningful volunteer initiatives and support local communities.
During the programme, participants exchanged experiences, shared good practices and took part in a roundtable discussion with representatives from three local companies to gain insight into corporate volunteering and the role of businesses in community engagement.
Participants also joined a local cross-sectoral volunteering action at the Szeged Zoo, where international youth workers, the Talentum Foundation and employees of the local company Déli-Farm worked together.
