Mexico has taken an important step toward strengthening its engagement in the International Volunteer Year (IVY) 2026 with the official appointment of a national focal point.

The Government has designated the General Directorate for Liaison with Civil Society Organizations, under the Undersecretariat for Multilateral Affairs and Human Rights of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as the official National Focal Point for IVY 2026.

This designation reflects Mexico’s commitment to advancing volunteerism and ensuring effective national coordination in the lead‑up to IVY 2026.
