Nigeria has taken a significant step toward strengthening its participation in the International Volunteer Year (IVY) 2026 with the official appointment of a National Focal Point and the constitution of a National Working Committee.
These activities reflect the country’s ongoing commitment to advancing volunteerism as a tool for national development, civic engagement, and community resilience.
Officially, Madam Equere, E., Director of the Nigerian National Volunteer Service (NNVS), has been designated as the National Focal Point for IVY 2026.
