Research for Master’s Students in Early Childhood Education

Research is an essential part of the professional preparation of future master’s graduates in Early Childhood Education. It involves progressively mastering research methods, developing the ability to analyse academic information, substantiate findings and apply acquired knowledge in professional practice. A clear understanding of the stages involved in preparing a master’s thesis helps students organise their research effectively.

Nataliia Myskova, Associate Professor at Khmelnytskyi Humanitarian-Pedagogical Academy, will present how research is organised within the Early Childhood Education degree programme. Drawing on the academy’s approach to preparing master’s students, she will outline the content and scope of students’ research activities, alongside the main requirements for completing a master’s thesis.

The webinar will provide an overview of the degree programme and explore the step-by-step process of planning a master’s research project, completing the thesis and presenting it in the required format. Particular attention will be given to the requirements for proceeding to the thesis defence, the procedure for presenting research findings and the criteria used to assess them.

We invite master’s students in Early Childhood Education, lecturers, research supervisors and everyone interested in the organisation of research within higher education teacher preparation programmes to join the webinar.

The webinar is being organised within the scope of the International Volunteer Year (IVY). It is free of charge, and participants will receive certificates upon completion.
