The GEG Global Foundation organised Parliament Visit 2026 as an educational and civic-engagement initiative to encourage young people to understand India's democratic institutions, parliamentary processes and public governance.

The initiative aimed to provide youth and students with an opportunity to connect classroom learning with real-world democratic institutions. By promoting civic awareness, responsible citizenship and youth participation, the visit highlighted the importance of informed and engaged young citizens in building a stronger democracy.

Aligned with the spirit of International Volunteer Year 2026, the initiative reflects the importance of youth leadership, active citizenship and meaningful participation in society. It supports learning, awareness and a sense of responsibility among young people, encouraging them to contribute positively to their communities.

The initiative contributes to the broader goals of quality education, peace, justice and strong institutions, and partnerships for sustainable development (SDGs 4, 16 and 17).
