How do volunteering activities evolve into lasting community structures? Which mechanisms transform one-time participation into long-term belonging, collective production, and sustainable impact? Today, volunteering is evolving beyond individual contribution into new models centred on community building.

Başak Yalvaç Özçağdaş, Founding Director of the Social Innovation Center (SIM), will explore the changing dynamics of volunteering through the lenses of community architecture, participation mechanisms, and sustainable impact models.

The webinar will examine the mindset shift from volunteering to community-building, the core principles of community architecture, role distribution, interaction cycles, and processes of shared value creation through practical examples. Participants will gain insight into how community-based volunteering models that generate sustainable impact are structured and maintained.

We invite everyone who wants to transform volunteering into stronger communities, sustainable collaborations, and long-term social impact to join this webinar.

The event will be held as an online webinar within the framework of the 2026 International Year of Volunteers. It is open to everyone and completely free of charge, including a certificate of participation.
