Activity Description:
Un Día Para Dar Jalisco 2026 is a community-based campaign that promotes civic participation through volunteering, organized generosity, and cross-sector collaboration.
Within the framework of the International Year of Volunteers for Sustainable Development 2026 (IVY 2026), this initiative brings together civil society organizations, businesses, educational institutions, cultural collectives, and the general public to carry out a series of activations over 26 consecutive days.
Each activation is designed and implemented by local actors, who mobilize financial, in-kind, and social capital resources to address priority needs in their communities, contributing to the strengthening of social cohesion, a culture of peace, and the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Objective of the Activity:
To promote volunteering as a driver of sustainable development by fostering organized generosity, civic engagement, and the construction of more supportive, resilient, and peaceful communities.
