The Press Conference for the International Year of Volunteers for Sustainable Development will take place on the 31st of March 2026, at 11:00 am,  at the auditorium of the Press and Information Office in Nicosia, Cyprus. 

 

The Press Conference’s programme will include:

  • Welcome speeches by the Deputy Minister of Social Welfare and the Commissioner for the Citizen.
  • Presentation by the President of the PVCC on the following topics:
  • The UN Resolution on IVY 2026.
  • IVY's activities that will be implemented in Cyprus.
  • Demonstration of the special IVY’s website that has been launched in Cyprus.
  • Q and A session with media representatives.
