Uzbekistan has also formally appointed a national focal point to lead and coordinate the country’s participation in the International Volunteer Year (IVY) 2026, underscoring its growing commitment to volunteerism, and social development.

The focal point is hosted within the Youth Affairs Agency of Uzbekistan, which will oversee coordination efforts, engage national stakeholders, and represent Uzbekistan in international IVY 2026 initiatives. Through this appointment, Uzbekistan aims to strengthen the role of volunteering in community development, and empower volunteers.

The appointed representatives include senior leadership and advisory figures within the agency, ensuring strong institutional support and strategic guidance for IVY 2026 activities.
