Volunteer Training and Capacity Building
Would you like to discover the training model through which the Mother Child Education Foundation (AÇEV) has empowered thousands of volunteers over the years, understand how a volunteering journey can be structured, and learn the full stages of a professional volunteer programme? As one of Türkiye’s most established institutions in this field, AÇEV implements exemplary practices that strengthen both volunteers and society through a systematic development model.
Deniz İrem Ergüney, Senior Specialist at AÇEV, and Onur Aygün will provide a comprehensive overview of the entire structure, from volunteer application and interview processes to training-of-trainers, implementation and supervision stages, as well as capacity-building and refresher training. The session will also explore in detail how volunteer profiles are identified, how Volunteer Academies and experience-sharing meetings are organised, and how volunteers progress toward roles such as field consultant or master trainer.
This webinar is a valuable guide for anyone who wants to turn volunteering into a more effective, conscious, and sustainable development journey. Apply now to join.
The webinar will be held as part of the International Volunteer Day activities, organised by the National Volunteering Committee (UGK) via the ILA Talks mobile application.
The event is free of charge, and participants will receive Turkish-English certificates of participation at the end of the session.
