How should volunteer roles be structured in child- and education-focused NGOs, and how can these roles contribute safely and effectively to children’s development? Through which mechanisms does volunteer participation strengthen the quality and accessibility of education programmes?

This webinar explores volunteer roles in areas such as educational support programmes, mentoring, workshops, and field practices within a framework of child protection policies, ethical principles, and structured volunteer management. Zafer Gedik, Volunteer Coordinator at the Tüvana Foundation for Education of Children in Need (TOÇEV), will share practical insights on building safe and effective volunteering models.

Participants will gain an understanding of internal training systems, supervision mechanisms, and impact-oriented practices that support children’s learning and development through volunteering.

We invite everyone who wants to make volunteering programmes in education more safe, qualified, and impactful to join this webinar.

The event will be held as an online webinar within the framework of the 2026 International Year of Volunteers. It is open to everyone and is completely free, including a certificate of participation.
