Being a volunteer does not only create social benefit; it also strengthens emotional resilience, reinforces social connections, and contributes directly to psychological wellbeing. The volunteering models developed by Inno Association are built precisely on this twofold impact.

Cafer Yıldırım, President of Inno Association, will explain how volunteering can empower individuals in areas such as self-efficacy, meaning-making, social belonging, and life satisfaction. At the same time, he will address risk areas that may arise in volunteer experiences—such as burnout, stress, feelings of guilt, and boundary violations—from a scientific perspective. The session will also comprehensively explore the points that both volunteers and volunteer-supporting organisations should consider in terms of mental health.

This webinar offers strong guidance for anyone who wants to turn volunteering into a more conscious, safer, and more sustainable life practice. Apply now to take part.
The webinar will be held as part of the International Volunteer Day activities, organised by the National Volunteering Committee (UGK) via the ILA Talks mobile application.

The event is free of charge, and participants will receive Turkish-English certificates of participation at the end of the session.
