Volunteering in the field of accessibility requires more than goodwill; it depends on clearly defined roles, boundaries, and responsibilities. When volunteers are involved in line with real needs, their contribution can become more effective, reliable, and sustainable.

Nurşen Korkmaz, Board Member of Engelsiz Erişim Association, will discuss the association’s volunteering experience and volunteer model in the field of accessibility.

The webinar will explore the importance and basic principles of volunteering in accessibility work, the areas where volunteers can contribute, and the points that should be considered when working with volunteers. Good practices and lessons learned from field experience will also be discussed to show how volunteer effort can be included in accessibility work in an effective and responsible way.

We invite everyone who wants to develop more conscious, needs-based, and sustainable volunteering processes in the field of accessibility to join this webinar.

The webinar is being organised within the scope of the International Volunteer Year (IVY). It is free of charge, and participants will receive certificates upon completion.
