Youth Access Events Furthering Energy and Technology SDGs
Bellwether Student Leaders spent several months hosting accessible, high-impact forums that offered global youth resources and learning opportunities to engage in volunteerism related to the UN SDGs.
The student volunteers recruited a group of youth to help host former President and Prime Minister of Mongolia, Elbegdorj Tsakhia. The event had President Elbegdorj speak with a diverse array of global students about how AI and Fusion Energy can transform the world and help us meet key SDGs. The event was held digitally to ensure broad access regardless of geography or nationality.
Additionally, student volunteers hosted former US Ambassador to the UN, Sichan Siv, for a discussion on perseverance and flourishing in the face of difficulties, with a special emphasis on building authentic, long-lasting relationships through volunteerism. The event provided hundreds of aspiring youth with access to a dignitary in their field of interest.
