Zambia has taken a major step toward its engagement in the International Volunteer Year (IVY) 2026 by officially appointing Changano Ngoi, Director of Community Development at the Ministry of Community Development and Social Services, as the National Focal Point.

In addition, Kapalu Muswaka has been designated as the Technical Focal Point.
