The International Youth Day was celebrated in Côte d’Ivoire on August 12, 2026, under the theme “Different Realities, Common Aspirations.”

The main objective of this celebration was to give young people a voice, gather their concerns and proposals, and strengthen direct dialogue between youth and public authorities.

This activity is fully aligned with SDG 1, which aims to end poverty.

For the occasion, the Office of National Civic Service of Côte d'Ivoire deployed fifty (50) volunteers. They provided significant support in event organization, logistics, participant reception, and guidance, contributing to the smooth running and success of the celebration.

This activity demonstrates the contribution of volunteers to the implementation of initiatives launched by the Ivorian government under International Volunteer Year (IVY) 2026.
