The Juventude Solidária Platform is an initiative of Brazil’s National Youth Secretariat that connects young people aged 16 to 29 with volunteering and social impact projects implemented by civil society organizations and public institutions across the country. Integrated into the National Youth System (Sinajuve) and the Brazil Participativo platform, it serves as a national mechanism to strengthen youth engagement in community development and civic participation.

The platform offers opportunities in areas such as education, culture, health, environment, technology, entrepreneurship, human rights, and sustainable development. Through a matching process based on participants’ interests, location, and availability, it connects volunteers with initiatives that address local needs and promote positive social change.

As one of the flagship initiatives of the Government of Brazil within the framework of the International Year of Volunteers for Sustainable Development 2026 (IVY 2026), the platform has engaged more than 5,000 young people in volunteer activities across eight thematic areas, strengthening youth leadership, community engagement, and volunteer action throughout the country.
