The first National Technical Education Fair (SNET) 2026 was held on April 25, 2026, at the Abidjan Technical High School (Cocody) under the theme: “Technical Education, a Driver of Côte d’Ivoire’s Industrialization.”

Through this theme, the event aligned with SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure.

For this occasion, the National Civic Service Office of Côte d’Ivoire mobilized fifty (50) volunteers, who made a significant contribution to the success of the fair by welcoming, guiding, and assisting visitors, particularly young people and students. Their efforts helped participants better discover the vocational training and career opportunities offered by technical education in Côte d’Ivoire.

This activity demonstrates the contribution of volunteers to the implementation of the initiatives launched by the Ivorian government under the International Volunteer Year (IVY) 2026.
