The Festival of Rights (Festival dei Diritti) is a cultural and social event series established in 2008 to promote a culture of human rights and active citizenship. It is organized by the CSV (Volunteer Service Center) in collaboration with numerous non-profit organizations that design and host events across the region. Its objectives include raising community awareness about social and environmental challenges, highlighting the value of the Third Sector (non-profit/voluntary sector), and combating indifference by fostering inclusion.
The festival’s activities—spread across four provinces—encompass conferences, theatrical performances, film screenings, exhibitions, and educational programs for schools.
It is aimed at citizens, young people, students, public institutions, and voluntary associations.
Key achievements include a strong local presence that consistently mobilizes hundreds of non-profit organizations and thousands of participants, thereby strengthening a robust local welfare network.
