CEV will hold its Spring Volunteering Congress in Maia, European Volunteering Capital 2026, gathering Representatives from Public institutions, EU institutions and CoE, Municipality Mayors and Municipality Representatives, Representatives from CEV members, Volunteer organisations, Universities, local NGOs, European CSOs based in Portugal. CEV’s vision is a Europe in which volunteers are central to building a cohesive, sustainable, and inclusive society based on solidarity and active citizenship — a vision that will be celebrated globally during the 2026 International Year of Volunteers.
