“The value of volunteer measurement data in policy and planning”
 

This session will explore how measurement data can best inform policy and planning, and what it takes for the evidence to be trusted and acted upon.

The webinar is organised as part of disseminating insights from the 2026 State of the World’s Volunteerism Report (SWVR), bringing together practitioners, policymakers, experts, and partners working on volunteerism, research, development, and crisis response.

This final webinar in the 2026 SWVR Global Webinar Series focuses on experiences from different sectors & discussion on how volunteer measurement has evolved to inform planning, reporting and coordination processes. Speakers will share practical insights and perspectives on the SWVR recommendations, focusing on what to measure, how to measure it, who should be involved, and why, when and where measurement matters for building more inclusive and meaningful evidence on volunteering.
