Government Secretariat of Modernization. The Internal Communications department of the Government Secretariat of Modernization worked on Agenda 2030 adoption mechanisms linked to social responsibility in public administration. To this end, four working areas were defined: Health, Environment, Inclusion and Volunteering. These are linked to seven Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): SDG 3 Good Health and Well-Being, SDG 5 Gender Equality, SDG 8 Decent Work and Economic Growth, SDG 10 Reduced Inequalities, SDG 11 Sustainable Cities and Communities, SDG 12 Responsible Consumption and Production and SDG 13 Climate Action.

On 14 June 2021, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development, for cooperation and support to continue an initiative that began in 2019 with the Open Seneca group of the University of Cambridge, which aims to conduct workshops to assemble low-cost sensors and their subsequent use by volunteers to measure the concentration of PM2. 5, in experiences that are being carried out in the cities of Buenos Aires, Córdoba, Mendoza, Tucumán and currently in the Province of San Juan.

It also requires empowerment and inclusive, accessible and non-discriminatory participation, with special attention to those disproportionately affected by disasters, particularly the poorest. It is important to integrate gender, age, disability and cultural perspectives into all policies and practices, promoting women's and youth leadership. In this context, special attention should be given to enhancing organised voluntary work by citizens.
