In terms of social welfare, an Action Plan for promotion, prevention and intervention was developed. It contains a care protocol that offers guidance to centres providing welfare services, thus contributing to the development of interventions for families and communities. Similarly, in the face of the health crisis, multidisciplinary teams for visits and operations have been formed and the Voluntario Solidario volunteerism scheme is being run with the support of the National Council of Volunteering. The goal is to have as many people supporting as possible, observing strict health protocols. These volunteers will help Panamanian families access the food they need during the crisis.
